He also recently did an SOS on the Portuguese in NIC Yearbook 117.

Was there any new stuff there, or just from the book?

Hi all,
Simple question till what level can one play the repertoire outlined in the Smerdon book???  Yes I know he plays it and is a GM.  But other mere mortals, you know us????  LOL.
Thank you!,
Marc

I have no idea but I have to say it is a fantastic book.  As a Class B player myself and therefore umqualified to answer your question, I have found Smerdon's explanations to be very understandable and in depth....and his sense of humor and naming of the variations (such as "the wuss", "the banker", etc) help with recall (helps me anyway).  He also recently did an SOS on the Portuguese in NIC Yearbook 117.
