I see that Tay's main line after 8. Be3 is 8...Ng4 9. Bd2 Qe8.  He considers various things but apparently acknowledges that White can get a slight advantage by playing as in Gelfand-Morozevich, Monte Carlo (rapid) 2003.

Very keen on finding out what the book says about the variation:

1.d4-Nf6 2.c4-d6 3.Nc3-c6 4.e4-e5 5.Nf3-Nbd7 6.Be2-Be7
7.0-0-0-0 8.Be3

and learn the possible new ideas here. If there is any..

Khalifman adopted this variation for white in his Kramnik repertoaire ( 2006) and it still seems very to the point indeed.
