They are already decided:

1. Anand (loser of the previous WC match)

2, 3: Karjakin, Svidler (World Cup finalists)

4, 5: Caruana, Nakamura (top 2 in the FIDE Grand Prix series)

6, 7: Topalov and Giri (by rating)

8: Aronian (the organizers can name a 2725+ player as wildcard)

Hou Yifan wasn't anywhere near qualifying.

I'm curious to know if all the participants to the Candidates matches have already been determined yet or if there are any possible additions...like say Hou Yifan, for instance?
