	11...Rc8 is probably best, but 11...a5 is a good alternative imo. I would avoid the other 11th moves.

	Or you can deviate as Dreev recommands with 8..a6.

	He recommends playing 12 ...c5, which is the main point of 11...Rc8.

	Yeah, I am not a fan of 12... c5 after b4 also, I think 12... a5 is pretty decent though.

	After 11...Rc8 there is also b4, which I think is not so easy to equalize against, as I am not a fan of 12...c5 there.

	Well 11... a5 seems to lead to a draw at most for Black. 11... Qe7 is slightly worse for Black after 13. Bg5. 11... Rc8 is an insane amount of theory and White can prepare a surprise or Black might forget what he is supposed to do, etc. So what should Black play to play for the win but still being objectively about equal? Also, if anyone has Grandmaster Repertoire 20 (Semi-Slav) what does Lars recommend?

	What do you mean by best? Theoretically? Practically for you (as maybe least complicated)? Sorry, I don't get it, if you are afraid of complications, playing the Meran as Black is not exactly what seems best for you. But if you want something else, maybe play 6...b6 instead?
