I have to say that it's an absolute honour for my book to be amongst the finalists, being a first-time author and all.
During the first voting I would literally check the poll every day and I was amazed to see my book getting all those votes.
And I mean, the level of my competition is absolute world class!
Even if I probably won't win the entire thing, just getting so far definitely means a lot to me, so thank you ChessPub community!  Smiley

Congratulations!

I wonder if this is the most competitive field this vote has had?

Yes some great books came out last year. I have purchased quite a few from the original nominations list, more so I think than from other years, and my final vote was quite difficult, so extra kudos for such a great set of finalists  Cool

I havent read your book yet, but from reading comments by those who have, it is very popular here.

I wonder if this is the most competitive field this vote has had?

It is a strong line up this year, but in my humble opinion your book rightly deserves to be amongst that list. I've enjoyed reading the book. Thank you for taking the time and effort to write it.

Hi everybody,

I've now set up the poll, consisting of the 6 books that scored the highest number of votes across the two run-off threads (top 3 from each).

Everyone gets one vote. I've set it to close midnight Monday 29th February (UK time), so hopefully that will give you all enough time to vote.

We then should have the results on Tuesday 1 March.

I see; I think that multiple votes is fine, I just wanted to clarify.

So we should vote once in each thread, I presume?

I set it up for multiple votes in each list as i wasnt sure what to do. I may be able to change it to just one vote, if people prefer.
