Interesting seeing it in a video format. Thanks for the post.

Funny to see Morphy up top for such a long time, since his career was so short.
Lasker does not get enough credit for being such a tough cookie, look at his longevity at the top.

I found this video quite engaging. It's interesting to see graphically the players rise and battle it out at the top. Some are number 1 only briefly.  You can see the really dominating players stand out. Also there are some interesting things like seeing Lasker rise and decline and then rise again paralleling Capablanca's rise, indicating him maybe learning from him.
  

Those who want to go by my perverse footsteps play such pawn structure with fuzzy atypical still strategic orientations
