That does sound somewhat curious.  I know that 10...Ng8 has been addressed in some books over the decades.  For instance in Sizilianisch mit 3.Lb5(+) from the 1990s, IM (and 3. Bb5[+] specialist) Rainer Kraut called it interesting and gave a couple of lines leading to equality.

Smerdon has some nice coverage of what I like to call the two result system:

1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6 3.Bb5+ Bd7 4.Bxd7+ Qxd7 5.0-0 Nf6 6.Re1 Nc6 7.c3 e6 8.d4 cxd4 9.cxd4 d5 10.e5 Ne4.

I would be tempted to try this myself with white from time to time, were it not for 10...Ng8!? which actually scores pretty well and resembles a good advanced French for black. Dave has suggested many important new moves, perhaps the most well-known is his 7...g5 in the 3...Nd7 Moscow which was used by Topalov to beat Carlsen.

Don't know, but van Kampen analyses 7.Bc4 in depth in his Chess24 video series.

Edit: Looks from the preview like Jones covers 7.Bc4 in the March update.

Thanks for the replies.

I have done some checking of reviews and ChessPub threads and I've come the following order...

1) Kornev. Most up to date, and I like the compactness of the Chess Stars books which make them ideal for carry around. Coverage of the KIA (which I play) and the Moscow (which I don't) is a bonus.

2) Bologan DVD. I must be somewhat of a Bologan fan boy and I like his no nonsense lecture style. Smiley 

I might not read a much of my books, but I do watch my DVDs, sometimes more than once. I like this method of absorbing ideas and refresher's.

3) Bologan book. Covers just the Rossolimo, so I think would be a useful additional reference.

4) Jones. I've seen some good reviews, especially with Gawain's explanation of ideas, but not sure if it is necessary after the other 3.

@RdC You must be thinking of a different book. How to Beat the Sicilian Defense is a repertoire based on the Moscow, Rossolimo, and 3.d3 against 2...e6.
