Can anyone point me in the direction of the game Prie v Congiu ? I've tried in the various databases I have, chess365, chessgames.com, etc. and have failed to find it. I believe Simon Williams uses it to illustrate why the black recipe of d5 / Nf6 / c5 / Qb6 / Nc6 is not good against a white move order delaying Nf3.

We now have a Chessbase / Simon Williams DVD on the London to add to this.

I think he discusses 1. d4 d5 2. Bf4 which you can see as an improvement on that odd Trompovsky related line of 1. d4 d5 2. Bg5 . Playing 1. d4 Nf6 2. Bf4 declares your intentions in a way that 1. d4 Nf6 2. Nf3 doesn't.

Ha. That is fine.

I also had in mind the new Nigel Davies DVD for Chessbase on the "Accelerated London," not to be confused with Nigel's other Chessbase DVD on the "London-System" or Henrik Danielsen's DVD on 1.d4 2.Bf4

It is with a heavy heart that I have to admit that I can no longer keep up with the deluge of dense theoretical material published on the London System on a weekly or monthly basis.  In light of this strain on my time and other resources, i have decided to cut my theoretical workload by switching to the Ruy Lopez.
