Sorry I just realized this is very similar to an existing active question on the Alekhine board, here:

Alekhine Modern variation options

As I understand it, some of the main choices in the Alekhine Modern variation are as follows:

1. e4 Nf6 2. e5 Nd5 3. d4 d6 4. Bg4 Be2 c6
1. e4 Nf6 2. e5 Nd5 3. d4 d6 4. g6
1. e4 Nf6 2. e5 Nd5 3. d4 d6 4. dxe5 Nxe5 5. g6
1. e4 Nf6 2. e5 Nd5 3. d4 d6 4. dxe5 Nxe5 5. c6

I was just wondering what the status of each of these lines is. Are any of these lines in poor standing from a  theory standpoint? Is one considered more solid than the others?
