	Yes I meant the Smyslov Variaton, and perhaps the book is "Build Up Your Chess 3: Mastery" (Yusupov's Chess School)

Was it a DVD by Pert you were thinking of? The line does ring a bell. Rudel had an anti indian book out a few years back which involved e3 in some lines (including his anti benoni line) not sure if he used the line you have asked about against the KID (is it the Smyslov variation?)
