Has anyone had a good look at this book? Would it be a worthwhile addition to the GM Rep Modern Benoni? Has the Modern Benoni really changed much at all in recent years?

I play both sides of the Modern Benoni, and White against the other benonis once in a while, though perhaps not enough to make this purchase really worth it...

Cheers!

I liked his Grunfeld and King's Indian books, and the Benoni suits his approach to writing these books. A big question will definitely be what he has to offer against the 7.Bf4 variation, which looks like a relatively straightforward += at present (though Black is of course not without chances).

Well, now there is some additional information.  Are you ready?  I know I am.
https://www.schachversand.de/startneu2.htm
(it's at the bottom of that page, at the moment)

Though the sample (Leseprobe) apparently isn't up yet, I see that the book addresses, along with the Modern Benoni, the version with delayed ...e6.

A couple of the various things I wonder:  in chapter 9, how does he have Black playing after 10. Be3?  (I was reminded of this old thread:  http://www.chesspub.com/cgi-bin/chess/YaBB.pl?num=1420841332/24 .)  What about 0-0 in lieu of h3 (as in e.g. Spassky-Fischer '92)?

Awesome. I was kind of expecting a hodge podge of benoni systems along with the new stuff. Has a bit more on the Modern Benoni than i had anticipated which is a good thing but doesnt appear to have anything on a number of lines such as the flicknife from what i can see. Makes me think of the dangerous weapons books, but havent a clue if that is an accurate description. Looking forward to getting a copy.

There is a new book by Milos Pavlovic comming:
http://www.thinkerspublishing.com/forthcoming-publications.html

The TP publication schedule isn't updated, so I asked them a few questions. It turned out that:
- the book most probably will be out in the last week of July;
- it is not only a rep book but more, with some move order issues taken into account.

It seems interesting - waiting for the excerpt to check what they cooked this time!

Excellent news. The recent Accelerated Dragon book has recieved quite a few positive comments on this forum so i am looking forward to seeing this book.
