Anyone has the book and what are your thoughts? I was wondering in particular what are the lines covered in the 4.Ng5 Two Knights. How does he deal with the Traxler? What are the suggested lines vs. 4...d5 5.exd5 Na5 5.Bb5 c6 6.dxc6 bxc6? Is it 7.Be2 or the modern 7.Bd3? Thx.

It's only an introductory book – and on the entire complex of Open Games – not a detailed repertoire for either side. Nevertheless...

Both 8 Be2 and 8 Bd3 are included.
And in the Traxler, 5 Bxf7+ Ke7 6 Bb3 is given as best.

Thanks for the info, Jonathan

May be. I just took a look at the given webpage.
There seems to be a flaw on the cover.
A pawn on e5 and one on e7.

Well okay, perhaps Everyman just shuffles the pawns on their books. I own a copy of Nigel Davies' "starting out: the modern". And there Black on the cover misses a pawn on - e7. Wink

So all equals out...

Mistakes on the covers are a theme on its own...
