Yeah, I was a bit surprised about seeing this pop up. It's notable that GM's are still looking at the 9...c4 variation. I'm not expecting any earth shattering novelties. It would be nice to see Erwin l'Ami find some slightly improved endings for Black in this variation. That all said, I rarely get to play in the mainlines OTB. Most folks try various assortments of dxc5 lines or try to get b3 structures.
