It looks interesting. I'm a fan of Marin's work in general, and I see now that this course covers both strategy and tactics (I used to think it was only tactics judging from the title, not that there would have been anything wrong with that).

Some of the themes are recognizable from Marin's Modern Chess repertoire on the French, especially the emphasis on French IQP structures. But Marin being the diligent author he is, I wouldn't be surprised if he has managed to use different sets of example games for these two products. Though maybe that's too much to ask.

Hi all, anyone have the dvd by Marin on the French? Is it a rep? Or just teaching you positions? What do people think of it? I think he has a pgn book out on it, was wondering how the dvd was. Thanks.
