There are tons of variations from after 2011, and if I saw it right even some games from 2019. Also tons of recent ICCF games etc, not only in the systems mentioned above. So it does look like the book was substantially overhauled, even if I can't tell if he changed his recommendations from the previous book.

If there are specific questions I can check.

It has improvements against the Anti-Grunfeld I play so I guess I'm "happy" that I checked...

He gives e5 against Nh4 and points out that this line is in "Avrukhs latest repertoire book". He thinks 20. Qc8 gives black better long term chances.

I see added 7...a6 in the Hungarian Variation, plus 4. Ag5 Ag7.

Thanks for the heads up - I'm quite interested in this.

However, if the bibliography is accurate and only Avrukh's original 1.d4 Vol 2 from 2010 was consulted (and the new one ignored) that would be a bit surprising.

There's a link to an excerpt on the "Future Plans" tab of the Chess Stars website.  I'd link to it, but I'm too new to post with live links.

Looks like it will be released at the end of the month.  And it appears to be the case that the major changes mostly happen with the anti-Grunfelds and the Bc4 exchange.

Looks like end of July, Delchew updates his book based on his 2011 Grünfeld book.

I wonder if he chooses completely new lines or simply updates. Interesting how he deals with 10. Ch4 in Fianchetto line.
