I bought this DWD years ago and I remember clearly that he recommended the Taimanow against English attack, line with ...Ab4/...Ce5 and doubling the c-pawns.

I thought that it was not bad, but it was whilst ago and the Taimanow Sicilian is one of those openings that changes everyday. Better to just get Quality Chess new Taimanow book instead.

Thanks doesn't sound like it was a smash hit...plus I worked out it is now 4+ years old. Wish Chessbase would put publication dates on their DVD's it would make life a lot easier.

As I recall the title is a bit misleading the DVD does not cover Taimanov only Schveningen.
