There is a game as reference, today I played scandi with 3...Qd6 after some years again and I managed to be better after the opening with 1/2 as result.

Nice plan! In "The Safest Scandinavian" Kotronias suggests ...e6 after something like Qd3. If the black Q is chased away with Bf4 he puts it on b6. His plan for Black is to play e6 to prevent d5, play Nc6, Bd7 and long castle.

Scandinavian with 3...Qd6 - 5 Nge2!?

I'm mostly happy with the Scandinavian main lines starting with 5 Nf3 etc. from the White side, but is there any reason why the slightly hacky 5 Nge2 isn't more popular? The idea is of course Bf4, followed by Qd2/d3 and 0-0-0, or Ng3 and h4(-h5) if the Bishop goes to f5 and then g6. ...g6 can often be answered as well by Ng3 and an h-pawn push.
