I'm listening to the 1972 version of Momente right now and am absolutely in awe.

Oh I love Webern too, especially that Op. 21! Haven't got into Messiaen so much, except that the Quartet for the End of Time is brilliant.
Also have you tried listening to Mantra? I think that's a pretty good introduction to Stockhausen for someone familiar with 20th century music.

Musique Concrete isn't it? Been a long time. Him & Pederewski were two favs. But so long ago. The memory fades. He was educated "on Sirius", IIRC. Those were the days, my friend.

just watched a couple of clips on you tube as not familiar with his work. Not sure i'm a fan. Interesting though.
