Hi Stigma,
    Glad to be of service. I'll look forward to your review whenever it comes. I have a clubmate who has taken up the Benoni in the last six months, on the advice of his coach. He has worked through the Marin DVD and although he was not a fan of his presentation style, he did think the work was well worth it. Funnily enough, I have Marin's two DVDs on the English and quite like his style. Each to their own !

That reminds me I actually have the one on 5.Bg5 (and also the one by Marin on the Benoni in the same series). So thanks for that! I never looked at them though...

I will comment here if/when I find time to go through it, but no promises as I have lots of chess material lined up for study at the moment.

Hi All,
    Has anyone used these DVDs ? There is one on the Meran and one on Bg5. As someone just trying out the opening I'd like to find out how effective they are helping someone get into the opening.
