I was going to suggest that the Chess Developments Bg5 Najdorf book may be the most recent that isn't a White repertoire, but looking at the contents the Gelfand Variation doesn't seem to be covered. Interesting. I guess that leaves you with the Negi book, which is a White repertoire book obviously, but at least you get coverage of what he considers to be the critical line. I can't think of anything else recent.

Whats the theoretical status of the Gelfand Variation? Any recent books on it?
