It is much more than just a compendium of games, some good written commentary, and a good amount of analysis, but not 20 moves deep.

This looks very interesting, and I learned a ton about the King's Indian from Petrosian's games.  I may have to pick up a copy!

I am working my way through this book, I think it is very good. A ton of interesting games, very methodical presentation.

Igor Yanvarjov (2019) The King's Indian According to Petrosian from Russell Enterprises.

Not sure how I missed news of this title. It seems exactly the kind of "opening" book that interests me. Hanon Russell has a good eye for chess and I should pay more attention to what he is putting out.

Is Hanon Russell still involved with the publisher?

I've never heard anyone else named Hanon. I wonder where the name originates from.

While not a fan of some of the layout in their books, i am growing into being a bit of a fan with their content
