Yeah! The first volume contains everything but the Classical, Dragon and Najdorf (the second volume should come out in a month, give or take a couple weeks).

So:
- Four Knights Sicilian (6 Ndb5)
- Taimanov (6 Be2)
- Scheveningen (covered in two forms; via 1 e4 c5 2 Nf3 e6 3 d4 cxd4 4 Nxd4 Nc6 5 Nc3 Qc7 6 Be2 a6 7 0-0 Nf6 8 Be3 Be7 9 f4 d6, its standard Qe1-g3 stuff, via 1 e4 c5 2 Nf3 e6 3 d4 cxd4 4 Nxd4 Nf6 5 Nc3 d6, it’s 6 Be2, e.g. 6...Nc6 7 Be3, with an aim to castle long under the right circumstances).
- Kan (6 Be2 against both 5...Qc7 and 5...a6
- Accelerated Dragon (good ol’ Maroczy Bind, different repertoire from both Shaw and Illingworth for the most part)
- Lowenthal (Queen swap)
- Kalashnikov (the main line with 5 Nb5 d6 6 N1c3)
- Sveshnikov (Old Main Line with 11 c4)

The planned systems in Volume 2 are the 6 f3 Classical (inspired by Shaw’s coverage but with some differences), 9 0-0-0 d5 10 Kb1 Dragon and 6 Be2 Najdorf.

Hi!

I have no idea if this type of post is considered acceptable or not, so mods please delete if this isn't okay.  Smiley

Tomorrow Chessable are planning to publish the first volume of a two part series on the Open Sicilian that I've written. Its aim is to reach positions that are challenging, yet avoiding where possible the absolute sharpest theoretical lines.

can you give details on the systems you cover?
