Sorry, yes I mean  4 Qc2 dxc4, 5 Qxc4 then 5....b5. I think other than this move he does cover all of black's other main 5th move options..

His recommendation is 4 Qc2....my only concern is that it doesn't cover the line 4...dxc4 5 Qc2 b5.

As the Queen moved to c2 on move 4, 5.Qc2 is obviously illegal, so I presume you mean 5.e4, as per the subject of this thread. After 4...dxc4, Delchev recommends 5.Qxc4 in his database. It's a repertoire work, so there's no reason why he would cover 5.e4 as well.

EDIT: On second thoughts, I wonder if perhaps you mean 5.Qxc4 b5. If so, then no, Delchev doesn't cover it.

There is a database by GM Delchev on the Modern Chess website called "Positional Repertoire against the Slav". His recommendation is 4 Qc2....my only concern is that it doesn't cover the line 4...dxc4 5 Qc2 b5. Perhaps not that common at top levels but my opponents all seem to like it.

Glenn Flear covered it on Chesspublishing in the game Firouzja-Caruana, Rapid, 2020 and Max Illingworth covered it in the notes to Reinderman-Sandipan, 2016.

Avrukh covered this line in his book on the Classical Slav, but his analysis is 6 years old at this point. For what it's worth, I briefly looked at 4.Qc2 a couple of years ago and concluded that 4...g6 is a good reply, although I don't remember why...
