  • D45 1 d4 d5 2 c4 e6 3 Nc3 Nf6 4 Nf3 c6 5 e3

Not greatly helpful, I know; but at least we can try to make some forward progress.

While D45 is currently quite popular, many ambitious white players still aim to D44. However, black nowadays  usually steers the game instead to D43. There are several interesting new ideas in all these lines.
  
1.Nf3! -  beat your opponent by killing his zest for life.

Suggest that you post some moves so that people will know what you are asking about.

Developments in which line, since when? 

Start off a conversation with specifics, perhaps with some of your own input, and you are more likely to get helpful responses. And people here are very helpful and nice!
