Thanks for the reply but I've found my reference for it.  In Too Hot To Handle: The King's Indian Defense on Chessable by FM Kamil Plichta he advocates this against the London.

Can anyone tell me where 1.d4 Nf6 2.Bf4 c5 3.d5 b5!? is recommended for Black.  My memory is so poor I can't remember even though I was recently looking at it.
