Coming soon! I wonder where the Queen will go after 3.Nc3? Willemze has mostly played 3...Qa5 himself, so...

There is a glut on the market of Scandi Courses lately, I could name about 10 already and chessable has a Lifetime Repertoire  on the way. So the Scandi fashion continues, but as far as I know it's under heavy theoretical pressure in all three major branches.

Assuming some quality I can recommend this one.

I knew his brother in the 1980's. Manuel definitely is one of the most original players in the history of chess.

The book had the effect good books usually have: it made the stupids more stupid, the intelligent more intelligent and the other thousands of readers remained unchanged.

The boys at NIC are playing with their homepage - they cannot decide what to announce and what not!?
Amazon.de is still two books ahead (Scandi by Willemze and Timman on Fischer).

Btw, the book by Prusikin is obviously the english translation of an already existing German book:
Prusikin: Feuer frei! , Schachreisen-Verlag [JHickl], 195 pages, April 2021

The link is broken now. Seems to become usual on the NiC homepage to show some announcements and then delete them again ...

But you can find some information at amazon.de :
The Scandinavian for Club Players
   - Start Playing an Unsidesteppable & Low Maintenance Response to 1e4
by IM Thomas Willemze, Holland [sic!]
New in Chess, 240 pages, ~ 19€, October 2021
[Availabiliy at amazon and publication date by the publisher can be quite different of course]
Personally I prefer to link the publisher and not to a shop but ...
https://www.amazon.de/Scandinavian-Club-Players-Unsidesteppable-Maintenance/dp/9...

————————————————-

Btw, at Amazon.de I found some other announcements of books from New in Chess I have not yet seen anywhere else:

Benjamin: Winning the World Open , Dec 2021
de la Villa: 100 Endgame Patterns You Must Know , Dec 2021
Sadler: The Silicon Road to Chess Improvement , Nov 2021
Boel: Chess Buccaneer, Life & Games of M.Bosboom , Nov 2021
Timman: The Unstoppable American, Fischer‘s Road to Reykjavik , Oct 2021
Prusikin: Attacking Strategies for Club Players , Oct 2021
Erwich: 1001 Chess Exercises for Advanced Club Players , Oct 2021
Neiman: The Magnus Method, The Singular Skills of ... , Oct 2021

[no guarantee for nothing!]

It looks like the announcement has disappeared again. Not the first time for New In Chess...
