Re: Killerchesstraining,

Any site that won't even let me look them over until I first decide how much of their spamming I am going to allow in my inbox can kiss my grits. I don't care what I can adjust later. Just, no.

I think you should be your own light to chess improvement, Charles.
I certainly know the lure of the security a training site or a chess training method can bring you on the road to say an IM or GM title.
If you just follow what they serve it will be all right and you'll make progress following a nicely laid out road to chess improvement.

Think of all the top players in the past who did their own work. That maybe could be your inspiration.

My apologies if I sometimes sound a bit annoyed, but I wish you the best.

Wow, that’s a shitty thing to do.
Advertise competing sites in a post, oh my.

@Tony K, mods.

Suggest to delete, and sin bin the hapless Charles for a period. For his own sake.

chessmood is pretty affordable. killerchesstraining is affordable as well but a bit more pricier.

I could consider both of these as of now, but I am thinking I will pick them up in the future. I am trying to finish working with my students at the moment, I have 15 students pending to finish working with me. When I am done with them I will devote possibly 3 years to chess. more on becoming a professional like knowing all the theory in your openings, and doing chessbase repertoire scans on twic files (the week in chess). I think this will be my next phase. Also looking at the twic file endgames in the endgames tab under themes and so on on chessbase. In other words solving the endgames which populate under the endgames tab on the chessbase database. its about 1000 endgames per twic file. so you do those positions a week, together with the opening analysis work that came out from your repertoire scan on the twic file.

anyhow, I dont think I need memberships to these sites, but they look like they would be a nice addition to the training I would be doing on my own, and I think killerchesstraining has daily material, in otherwords videos/lectures, and weekly homework. its like being the member of a chess club you have always wanted to be in but better because its all about training.
