It's a live updated link collection essentially with a strategic map attached. That is not my cup of tea.

	I would hazard a guess that the Russian navy is performing about as well the Russian army: SNAFU, but more or less successful in some areas by its own sheer numbers. The most detailed and seemingly fair military analysis I've been able to find is by a former U.S. military analyst (self-described) who operates the You-Tube site, "S2 Underground." The site has been around a while and does have a survivalist bias, but his sitrep maps are easily the best available to you and I. He has also accessed European agro-satellites at times for pix which are fairly current and publicly available. His Jan. 21 thru Mar 02 pieces might be helpful for you. He is a former analyst and so he likes to - analyze. So don't expect instant gratification. McDonald's is the place for that. 	Hi. Russian navy ships seen near Odessa. https://www.reuters.com/world/defiant-odessa-is-seen-vulnerable-russian-sea-assa... It seems really hard to make out what has and has not gone on with regards to Russian naval operations. I'm not even going to try. Hopefully some serious source does a deepdive at some point. 	Respectfully, this is better moved into the existing thread on Ukraine. Reason? It’s not about theory. In passing, worth quickly noting - Golubev is a good author. His Sozin and KID works are really good. An author who knows his stuff, has passion for the subject matter, and explains well to readers. Perhaps Mod MNB might adjust and move this? And our very best to all in Ukraine, of course.

	Hi. Stay strong indeed. It should be said that Odessa is not yet under any kind of ground attack. Depending on what offensive capabilities are left with the Russian forces north of Crimea the city should be relatively safe from fighting for now (bombs and missiles are another issue though). There is also the Russian navy to worry about and (so far very passive) forces in Transnistria; any offensive would still be out of the blue though. Wars are bad. / CbT
