I got this book and was very pleasantly surprised! Good prose and some interesting ideas that I had not seen anywhere else.

There are two lengthy reviews (in German) by IM Dirk Schuh and FM Christoph Eichler on the Niggemann site:

Strictly speaking, Eichler's review pertains to the German edition of the book (Das Damengambit), but it should still be relevant since Countering the Queen's Gambit is a straight translation into English except for a few changes in the chapter introductions and foreword.
