The Rossolimo for Club players. Read the excerpt and e5 is not covered.

The Rossolimo is my main concern about playing some 2...Nc6 sicilians as Black right now. I've suffered two big loses OTB (not funny positions to play) in the past against "affordable" opposition (not people way ahead of me in terms of ELO) and any idea would be appreciated xD

I've seen that this quick e5 lines are gotten some kind of fashion right now, but I've never got too much attention to them. Maybe it's time to give them a try...

Avrukh made a black repertoar base for Modern Chess about e4 c5 nf3 nc6 bb5 e5. I see the line has not neen discussed here. The base also proposed to met 3 Nc3 with e5 as well.

I gave it a few tries in Correspondence Chess vs several good plays and equalized easy in a every game. I used it as base but I made some diversions a bit further in when Stockfish strongly disagreed. I will not post any games here.
