4.Qd3,Nf6 5.Nc3,e6 6.Bf4,a6 is the start of one recent source, deemed slightly better for Black, though there are many more moves to be played.

Yah for sure black should be ok but it certainly seems that he needs to be thoughtful about how to setup and move order. Against Qa4 should one be going for a scheveningen setup? A queen on a4 and a bishop on b5 can be quite annoying. A knight on c6 needs defense and a6 won't work for a while until the rook gets defended.

And against Qd1 what is the plan given that without a knight on d4 there will likely be a battery of queen and rook and the d-file making d5 not easy to achieve.

4.Qd1 was in Crafty's opening book, so I played countless 5+0 blitz games against Pocket Crafty in the line 1.e4 c5 2.d4 cxd4 3.Qxd4 Nc6 4.Qd1 Nf6 (or 4...g6) 5.Nc3 g6. I never had trouble getting a good opening, but I don't remember ever winning any of the games. Sad

1.e4 c5 2.d4 cxd4 3.Qxd4 Nc6 4.Qd3. That's a funny choice for a Morra Gambit player. I suppose the idea is to play c2-c4 with a Maroczy Bind. It can be compared with 1.e4 c5 2.d4 cxd4 3.c3 d3!? 4.Qxd3!? Nc6 5.c4 where white is a whole tempo ahead and it's still probably equal.

Pálkövi in his 2000 book on the Morra Gambit has devoted a short chapter on 3.Qxd4, main line Nc6 4.Qd3.
  
The book had the effect good books usually have: it made the stupids more stupid, the intelligent more intelligent and the other thousands of readers remained unchanged.

I've encountered the following lines. Is there anything written on these. Its not clear to me if black should be starting with e6 or going for a dragon setup. For example it seems to me if black is not careful he can end up in a kind of rauzer situation.
1.e4 c5 2.d4 cxd4 3.Qxd4 Nc6 4.Qd1 or Qa4
