I would not trust the line vs 9 000 yugoslav with Bd4 in Correspondence Chess.
However this line vs  9 Bc4 Yugoslav looks reasonable at first sight.

Quick browsing without computer at varius chapters seem to indicate lots of lines I never seen before, both in yugoslav attack and in 00 lines and also some new ideas in anti sicilian section.

Yes, Giri was criticised by some dragon fans on Chessable for not going with better known/ aggressive lines but I think he argued that the lines he picked would be more reliable against stronger opponents.

I'm looking forward to adding this to my collection.

Possibly due to copyright laws, book editors seem able to exclude or control online courses made after books, while the opposite is not true. So the right order may be course first, then book.

I think Chessable said that most of the money generated from the sales of courses goes to the author, so it is possible they have negotiated book rights as part of that?

I think there is also a practical element to this - once the course has been done, then the material is pretty much all there to be published as a book. There is no need to wait for an author to write it.

Also, doesn't Magnus's company own Chessable and several publishers which would again make the process much easier?

Got book today. Same good layout as Kings Kalachnikov. The book is probebly same as online course while Kalachnikov has some updates.

Some people here have published Chessable courses. Does that include any restriction on books or other online publications based on said courses?

I noticed that Giri realised a new book about Sicilian Dragon.

The book is based on a online course not shure if anything is updated or not. I dont have the course.

It appers that latest fashion is to make books from digital courses. First Caruana Ruy Lopez, then King Kalachnikov and now Giri Dragon.
