Many years agos there was a Dragon line in Dangerues Weapons book serie with a Yugoslav attack like line but with Be2 played instead of pawn to f3.

In the Yugoslav attack proper taking everything is good for black

Bd3 loses after Qe5, I even played this line as black many times during the years,

In Dangerues weapons the proposed a slighly different version with the idea that with the pawn still at f2 Bd3 does not lose a piece after Qe5 since the pawn at f2 protecs e3 Bishop.

This posiiton was originally given as sligthtly better for white. However latest Stockfish with NNUE AI has discocered that 16 .. Be6 the posiiton the position is actually completly equal and not better better for white as previesly belived. My prefernces with black has however always been 9 .. Ng4 with equal play but thats an other story.
