I don't know anything about RTHomeserver, except that it's ancient. When things stop working in Windows even though you didn't change anything, it's usually because Microsoft did a security update. You may be interested in this:

If you can't get RTHomeServer working again, there are other ways to run remote engines. Good information here:

I do not, but you could try reaching out to Carl Bicknell who runs a You-Tube channel on Aquarium and has posted about working with it via networking solutions. The name of the channel is his name. Hope this helps.

RThomeserver is a program installed on client or slave machines of a LAN that works with a GUI program like Aquarium on master or server system in the LAN. I find RTHomeserver no longer allows two-way communication over Windows 10 LAN. I would appreciate any feedback from anyone knowledgeable in RTHomeserver.
