An Un-important Question

I just happened to notice that, under "Forum Statistics," the most users ever on-line was 673 on 01/22/2020. The most guests ever on-line was 672, also on 01/22/2020. Does this mean there was only 1 member, but 672 guests on-line that day? Or a total of 1,345 people? Was there something remarkable going on? 

Like I said, un-important; it's just that that stat is always there ever since I joined on 03/03/2020. Thanks to the best forum I've ever belonged to, even going back to the old BBS days and the ever-chaotic Usenet.
