Yes, but after 2...a6, 3.c4 and 3.c3 are more dangerous than the Moscow, and lead to quite different play than the Najdorf.  Psychologically, this is not a good way to avoid an Anti-Siclian, as an Anti-Sicilian player will feel very comfortable after 3.c3, which is simply a very favorable c3 sicilian.  In fact, 3.c3 is the course recommended in Experts vs. the Sicilian, so it is even more likely you will face this continuation, even if you know your opponent plays the main lines of the Open Sicilian.  And 3.c4 is another story...

To use the expression, this is like avoiding a bicycle, to get hit by a truck.

I have also never been to New Jersey so cannot comment about the weather! 
The anti-sicilians are doing well but this site is also for players of the black players so I am happy to offer advice. 
I also review books on the site so you can also see what I think of some of the titles mentioned in the postings.

I agree the Anti-Sicilians aren't to be feared,  only respected.

One should not be afraid of the anti-Sicilians as it is quite easy to get an at least equal position with Black. In addition, unlike Open Sicilian which requires one to know 10-20 moves of theory, the anti-sicilians usually require no more than 5-10 moves of theory. The main ones to look at are 3. Bb5, Morra Gambit, 2. c3, Grand Prix Attack/ 2. f4, and KIA/Closed Sicilian. These lines should not be dodged unnecessarily as they can often be favorable for Black. If you want a specific book, then Joe Gallagher's "Beating the Anti-Sicilians" is an excellent resource, though Nunn's Chess Openings has a vast amount of theory on pretty much all of the anti-Sicilians.

Also, I second Mr. Baggins' opinion about summer in New Jersey. It is the middle of June so I should NOT be wearing a jacket!

I'm tired of all the anti-sicilians! This year, i've played 5 sicilians, and all of them were anti sicilians! ANd I lost three of them (Rossolimo, c3, and Hungarian variation...), which were my only losses as black...
OK, it might be because I don't know the theory really well, but I also find that the resulting positions of these lines don't really suit me... and the problem is that, at my level (below 2000 FIDE), almost everybody plays some kind of anti-sicilian...so,  I am looking for sidelines that are, well, rather "agressive" and active, or at least really unbalanced...maybe something like 2...Da5 or 2...b6 against c3 ( I don't know these lines, I've just heard about them...), and Cd7 vs Fb5....
Anybody that could help me????
(the only lne I like playing against is the Closed sicilian...)
