Hello my chesspublishing.com friends,
I wasn´t writing here for a long time maybe it is time to make up for this?
No news in BDG. I have been working hard on Morra gambit for some
months. With very promising results. Maybe time to come back to roots?
And one great news. My team "Equidistance" has got qualified to the 2nd CSS/PAL
Freestyle Tournament. We achieved 5th place scoring 6/8. Keep us fingers
in the final. There is Hydra (as Zor_Champ), Rajlich (the inventor of Rybka) and
five other very strong opponents waiting. There were 155 players in the qualification,
with many GMs and IMs trying their luck. With all these, it was the strongest
tournament in advanced chess history. We had a big amount of luck, pure luck and
of course, we did enormous amount of hard work during preparation for this
tourney. And I´m very happy about our success. Unfortunatelly, we didnt play
BDG:( But Morra gambit 2x and one time 1.e4 e5 2.d4! gambit variation.
Thanks goes also to Eric Prie. We used successfully his recommendation against
Tromp with 1.d4 Nf6 2.Bg5 e6! I very much liked his coverage of this line.
