That 16 Bh6? is a mistake has been known for decades! By the way what
is the the most critical 16:th move in that position as of today?
Maybe 14. g4 is more promising than 14. h5 because I have always liked blacks position after ... Nxh5 as being a pawn up. If white's attack is not bearing fruit then ZAPP!! in the ending!!!

I've began to try checking  all the lines, like this one for example:
1.e4 c5 2. nf3 d6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nd4 nf6 5.Nc3 g6 6.be3 bg7 7. f3 0-0 8. qd2 nc6 9.bc4 bd7 10. 0-0-0 rc8 11. Bb3 Ne5 12. h4 Nc4 13. bxc4 rxc4 15. h5 Nxh5 15. g4 (the rook sacrifice doesn't work here) Nf6 16. Bh6 (after this move black can keep an edge in all the variations ) Nxe4 17. Qe3 ( Nxe4 leads to a very sharp game: but it looks like black also here can keep an edge) Rxc3 18. bxc3 Nf6 19. Bxg7 20.Bh6 Kh8 21.g5 Nh5 22.Rxh5 gxh5 23.Rh1 Rg8 24.Qxh5 Rg7 and black is a pawn up with a better pawn structure.
Obviously the very tempting 16. Bh6 is not  critical but it was interesting to dig up the lines after it in order to see how black is doing.

i will try to post more analysis.
By the way i'm using deep junior 9 and fritz 8 to double check everything
