Yes, I suppose the Open Sicilian is the best "Anti-Sicilian," if you want to take the name literally.  Cheesy

It's a main line. It's called the english attack. If you look at top level games, it's the most common set up right now. Very few players would call it a wasted tempo. Playing f3 or Be3 first usually doesn't make any difference.  It stops the Ng4 idea, though.

(And the discussion definately belong to "Open Sicilians".)

A player much better than I plays the Yugoslav agaisnt the dragon and Najdorf. I am a Najdorf player and My friend chris is a Dragon player. I wont even start on the arguments we have but I was wondering what is the best way to meet this strange line against the Najdorf. Is f3 a wasted tempo? or am i crazy. 

BTW: I figured this would go into anti because it goes against the dragon and Najdorf and i ddint want to make to posts in two forums.
