Transposition into Rossolimo after e6?

Recently I have had the following line played against me:
1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 e6 4.b3 with interesting play.
This can also occur after:
1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 e6 3.b3 Nc6 4.Bb5
How effective is this for white? Does black have to work for equality or does he already have it. What are the best lines for white.
