GM Kosten,

I can see the board & pieces. I initially thought that you scanned something from an old old book & pasted it there. Yes. the board is kind of distorted, more rectangular rather than squarish.

i can see a board, but looks slightly distorted, like its from a poor photocopy or an old newspaper cutting.

I can't see a board at all - just what looks like code of some sort (although I'm not a computer man, so could be wrong!)

Yes, the server space Max was using ran out of space, and some of the key files were overwritten. Now the Forum is on one of the ChessPublishing servers, so not only is this not possible, but we are also taking regular backups. Smiley
Of course, servers do sometimes crash, but there is no risk of it being down for a long time.

PGN is just a text file, not an executable, so there would be minimal risk in uploading PGN.  It might come in handy when discussing games rather than have to type in the moves.

A diagram constructor would indeed be a great thing to have if possible. I agree. So much easier & faster to know what somebody is trying to say abt a certain position rather than looking at a list of moves & assembling them out on a home board. Also it saves the hassle of having to go to an external diagram constructor & upload it here.

i am also not in favour of posting files, for reasons noted above. 
But surely a diagram constructor will be a godsend! It will definitely increase the quality/quantity of theoretical discussions.
