The eBooks are not really meant to be comprehensive as with ECO, say, they are meant to show where the annotated games fit in, and thus to reflect the way theory has developed over the last 6/7 years.
The individual style has been left pretty much up to the guys runnning the sections, and so Glenn's are much more detailed than Chris Ward's, for instance. Smiley
I always figured that, over time, the less popular lines would gradually be covered, but I guess there must be some 'gaps'. Which are the worst 'missing sections'?
I like the idea of recruiting volunteers, though, sounds like it would save a lot of money!! Grin

Missing Main Lines

I notice that in several e-books. even the starting moves of several main lines are missing.
But these lines seem to be well discussed in the forum-sections.
I wonder if it is an idea to recruit volunteers to (temporary) fill the missing sections in the e-books. Of course you would have to do something with the format of the e-books to make clear that these sections have not (yet) been scrutinized by the (grand)masters who author the sections. Further it would not do to provide a very detailed coverage, just the (lightly) annotated main lines.
To prevent bias, ideally two or three volunteers should work together on one section.

I think this  would be of some help to the subscribers who are not so well versed in the theory to see the main alternatives that have not yet been discussed.
