i wrote to chesspublishing 1 month ago still no answer. hmmm
strange
I think I have worked out why there have been problems with the ChessPublishing emails - when the server was hacked it started spewing out junk mail and the IP address ended up on some blacklists so that many of the emails were blocked with the words 'host 213.166.13.3 blocked for spamming issues.'
Not quite sure the best way of sorting this one out, maybe changing IP address?!
Incidentally, someone is supposed to be in Telehouse sorting the server out at this very moment.
Tony, the full error message should indicate by which anti-spam organisation it's being blacklisted.
If you can't see any indication of this, then
from the server (213.166.13.3) visit the following webpage which automatically checks the known blacklists to see if that IP address is on their lists:
http://whatismyipaddress.com/staticpages/index.php/is-my-ip-address-blacklisted [Don't do this from a PC, etc, - it will just check that IP address and not the server's one, which is the one you want to check. I'm assuming that the server is on a static IP address!?]
If it is blacklisted - indicated by a red circle - then you need to visit the marked organisations' websites - Spamcop, etc., - and look for information on how to get your server's IP address removed from their blacklist, such as their FAQs, etc.
This may take up to 48 hours.
Kindest regards,
Dragan Glas
