No they both had 4.5, drew and presumably both won something or other for 5/9. Better than a kick in the head.

Then I'm guessing: Khalifman has 4,5/8 going into the final round. If he wins he has a good chance of ending in the money. He plays Predojevic, who has 4/8 and even if he wins it doesn't matter. Khalifman plays the Dragon, looking for a fight, Predojevic doesn't feel like it and heads into a drawish variation. Khalifman decides he doesn't want to break iron with his hands and accepts the draw offer.

Don't know, they probably didn't end in the money so chances are that they didn't really felt like going head to head after 9 rounds. I don't know the status of the line they played. Drawish or not?
