	A recent post accused "Gambit" to play "hope chess", which I find just as insulting as the c-word. Those who are inclined to ban "Gambit" should read the "Ryder Gambit" thread. I don't see any trouble stirred up by Gambit. (Whether Markovich's cleaning had to do with this thread, I can't say.) A while ago some lively BDG threads were the main reason why I began to visit the chesspub site. There was a mixture of (a) chess enthusiasts like "Gambit", (b) BDG bashing, (c) members who submitted concrete analyses. - Markovich belonged to the last group. Apparently he now believes that the BDG threads would have been better without "Gambit". I don't think so. There have been threads from "climate gate" activists which annoyed me much more. I'd certainly prefer if you'd ban people who never post about chess.

	I just deleted one of his provocations. And a week or so ago, I had to take an hour cleaning up another one of those gawdawful BGD catfights. It wouldn't be so bad if people would ignore him, but he manages to get people's dander up.

	As a monitor, I have grown weary of always having to deal with trouble stirred up by "Gambit," who in my view posts almost entirely for the sake of provocation and almost not at all for that of mutual enlightenment or entertainment.
