I have played at the First Saturday twice before. It is a good tournament if you are looking for IM/GM norms and Budapest is a lovely city. Only downside might be that it gets rather hot/stuffy in the venue during the summer. Have said that, gr8 tournament, gr8 city, and the girls aren't too shabby either! Wink

Thanks Tony!

Would be great to hear about this FIRST SATURDAY events from players who participated.

They can recommend (hotels etc).

Thanks

I recognize terror as the finest emotion in a chessgame and so I will try to terrorize my opponent. But if I find that I cannot terrify, I will try to horrify, and if I find that I cannot horrify ...

If anyone is interested in playing these tournaments in Budapest (which is on the Danube, very pretty, not to mention the girls ...) Smiley
