Just below where you enter your Message, there is a Browse button for attachments to pgn files. I've attached the d3 Lopez one to my message created from the post.

The latest CBM (137) includes an article on this line.

The game continuation of Akopian-Ivanchuk, Jermuk 2009, is a convincing equaliser for Black. 5...b5 6.Bb3 Bc5 also makes a lot of sense since compared to 5.0-0 b5 6.Bb3 Bc5, White cannot play d4 in one go.

There is an article in CBM that is OK in terms of introducing the topic. No interest here, but perhaps the people at CB think it may be an interesting line. I find it useful to avoid playing 22 theoretical moves... Wink

Ok, no replies, I'll elaborate a bit...

take this position

Black played 5..d6 to protect the e5 pawn, and then fianchettoing seems to save a number of tempi... also the typical Nf1-g3 manoeuvre seems less strong here since f5 and h5 are well covered...

If the knight goes to g3 and h4-h5 is attempted then Bg4 could stop white in its tracks (h4-h5 is suggested by Marin, but not by Martin in his DVD...)

Having played several games with this move and countless on playchess I have noticed that the coverage of the site is less than appropriate (no fault of the site - too wide a subject to cover a sideline in depth) I wonder whether a thread in this fantastic forum is already available. 

I am still amazed how good this forum is. I was hoping the Svidler line vs the kg was ok, but it seems there is lot more 
to things!

A good is start is Marin comments on A Spanish repertoire but certainly not quite complete...
