Some years ago the Slav Stonewall was one of my main weapons with black. The move orders you mentioned are supposed to be not very dangerous for black – at least there are no dirty tricks.  If you want to put real problems for black in the Stonewall you would try the following ideas:
a) 1. d4 d5 2. c4 e6 3. Nc3 c6 4. e3 f5 (I did not play this and preferred such waiting moves as 4. ..Nd7 or 4. ..Bd6) 5. g4!?;
b) 1. d4 d5 2. c4 e6 3. Nc3 c6 4. e3 f5 5. Bd3 followed by Ng1-e2, Qc2, f3, also keeping in mind Bc1-d2 followed by the Q-side castling;
c) 1. d4 d5 2. Nf3 (in case you prefer to play this move early) 2. ..c6 3. c4 e6 4. Qc2!? – here in case of 4. ..f5 you can get  promising position by 5. Bf4 Nf6 6. e3 Be7 7. Nc3 0-0 8. Bd3. Now 8. ..Ne4 can be met by 9. g4! with certain advantage – I was always happy to play this position with white.
