I think you only get it at your own section, at least that is how it is for me.

Well, I have been having a good think about this, and so I propose that I do News and Discussion myself, and split up the remaining 5 as follows:
Craig Evans: Daring Defences & d-Pawn Specials - so that he can moderate himself!! Undecided
Castlerock: French
Willempie: 1 e4 ...
Teyko: KID
However, these are easily changed so I am pretty flexible about it, if anyone wants to swap then go ahead! Smiley

I would be more than happy to take over one or two of the sections, if people wanted... however, some may feel me to be too combative.  Shocked

A vote may be a good idea though, although I'm happy to just entrust the decision to Mr Kosten.

Best wishes,
Craig

If there are not many takers, I don't mind doing it in one of the d pawn sections or french. Other than d pawn special! Wink

So far only Willempie and Teyko have definitely volunteered - anyone else?

Moderating is generally a very easy thing.  As long as people are happy with the fairly robust disagreements (I'm thinking at the moment particularly of Craig and Lev on the BDG threads!) then there is very little problem and nothing at all to do.  Occasionally there is the odd spam post advertising some fairly dubious services, often involving ladies from Eastern Europe for some reason.  It is a simple matter to delete these threads.

At the same time, it does impose a sort of discipline on you to keep watching the threads as you feel a sense of duty to make sure there is nothing inappropriate there.  This is why I do not wish to moderate eg. the Dragon threads - too much obscure theory in lines I have no real interest in!
