I'd be really grateful for the responses of KID experts to two questions I have about the line given above:

(1) In the well-known line 7 ...e6 8 Bd3 ed 9 ed, what is the current status of 9 ...Qe7!?? It's mentioned with approval on ChessPub but NCO doesn't cover it. Are the endings after 10 Be3 Bh6 (best?) 11 Qe2 Be3 12 Qe3 Qe3 13 fe difficult for Black or OK?

(2) After 7 ...Na6 in this line, Nunn in NCO (p. 524, n. 24) gives 8 Be3 e6 9 Bd3 Nc7 as transposing to 7 ...e6 8 Bd3 Na6 9 Be3 Nc7, which he calls unclear after 10 0-0 ed 11 ed b5. Is there a good reason -- in the form of some subtle move order issue -- why White, after 7 ...Na6, should prefer 8 Be3 to, say, 8 Bd3? I'm wondering if the point is that Black has useful ...e5 options here (8 ...Nc7 0-0 e5 or 8 ...e5 immediately), but lacking experience in these lines I've no idea about the subtleties!
